In every sense Cezanne is essentially right. An artwork is the result of emotion - a visual sensation which stimulates a desire to render its lines, tones, shapes, forms and textures by a means, method or medium. It is driven by a passion to communicate that vision for others to see.
Delivering the vision involves becoming engrossed in the process and the endeavour to truly represent the image, often to the point of mindfulness
